12 Hopeful Acts at Graphic Brighton

On Saturday 4th May 2019 we’re talking about our 12 Hopeful Acts project at Graphic Brighton. We’re working with comic book artist Ian Hornsby on the first of our 12 Hopeful Acts, a series of postcards about critical hope that we’re developing into a performance project. We’ve been working with Ian on a critical and philosophical understanding of hope and thinking about the cross-overs between our work and his sequential narratives. This part of the project is tentatively titled Drawing Hope – both in terms of how we might use the comic book form to draw alternative narratives for the future, but also how in solidarity with others we can draw hope from one another in dark times.
